Well as you can see I have seemingly begun to gather together more and more Downey Head Perfin stamps, not surprising to me as I have always found them very interesting. As with all elements of collecting, there is always something more to know and with each new bit of information, more questions will have to be asked. It is bothering me a bit that I am fairly ignorant when it comes to British Perfins, I don't really know much about them........ yet!

I decided to pull the trigger on a membership to The Perfin Society to try and develop my understanding of Perfins. I am fortunate to have a nice selection to work with and am looking forward to learning about this interesting subject.

First thing I've learned is that the catalogues are available Alphabetically A thru Z, two for each letter and about $40 a pop. Oh dear....... Neutral

Anyways, with all this talk of Perfins, howzabout a bit of a ½d. Downey Head Perfin selection? Sit back and enjoy, there are a couple in here that are pretty stylin'! Cool
