Thanks! I can work with a visual!

This looks like something that would work well down here.

you probably can find the ready made ones in Daiso, a Japanese discount chain store and they have branches in USA. Sorry I couldn't find a proper list of their outlets on their Global page. You'll have to make do with the japan site.

I don't think they're somewhere near you though

The outlets addresses are in English so I thought it's easier to place them. Or try wikipedia Wink They have an online store but the merchandise are so limited.

5 store in Washington, 10 in California

Sorting out a few items to send out to some of the members, in time to get first day of issue cancellations on the envelopes. Yep, there's a new Singapore stamp issue again.

Stamp Bears family, Perfs, Ross & Bengalpaws...keep a lookout at your mailboxes !

I think that would be all for now...would anyone be interested if I start a thread showing my hoard, I keep discovering things that I didn't know I had ! Razz Embarassed scratch

A month or so ago I bought 1500 Latin America on pages... like really ratty pages. Mismatched, no rhyme or reason to how they were mounted at all.

Finished last night moving the stamps off the ratty pages and onto some nice Vario style stock pages and the whole collection is MUCH better. Next thing up with that collection is start moving some of the big, fat glassine of Latin America I've gleaned from the Bear Boxes... so far.

This evening is Olympics (of course) and during commercials design and print this week's Postmark Pursuit cachets and from there whatever I feel like dabbling with while watching the Games!

Tonight work on the exhibition... after a little while on that perhaps running off some new pages to add in the "unmentionable expansion".....

While watching the Olympics last night I managed to finish sorting 700 FDCs into order by date. Really because of dupes it's more like about 600 unique FDCs. I also sorted the Latin American I've pulled from Bear Boxes by country and got them into glassines.

The collection will take a back burner for a few days - I have a dreadfully busy afternoon ahead of me, an equally busy Saturday morning planned and then off to Marksville, LA to the casino for a Grand Funk Railroad concert and Sunday morning going to the Arts & Science Center with a pair of my grandchildren. I'm sure tonight and Sunday afternoon will present me with a little stampin' time though!

Went to check out stock from a Malaysia stamp dealer who was in town at a stamp fair. To my surprise it was the 47th National Stamp Exhibition & Fair organised by one of the oldest stamp society Kreta Ayer Stamp Society (KASS) here. Fairs like that are now not big scale due to the disappearing of older stamp dealers. Yes, I'm not very well-informed Razz

And while rummaging for bargains, somehow or other I got stuck looking at covers of the KASS president's stall. And a few hours later, bought some nice covers, signed up as a KASS member, and bought my first catalogue in my philatelic life - Singapore Postage Stamps Catalogue.
Don't ask me how it happen, it just did !

Getting back from a week long vacation. Received a couple of packages of stamps in the mail, while I was gone. Will see what I have and start putting them in my albums.
