| Greetings All . You can call it a sheet all you want, but it's still just a pane. . Respectfully, Gordon Lee |

| Respectfully Gordon, I think it is a sheetlet. I don't think any country in the world still sells full sheets ( except maybe Canada with their uncut sheets of sheetlets.).
Also common usage of the term sheet can be from one to 100+ stamps. Even sheets ( 2panes of 50 with a gutter and selvage all round ) are not true sheets as printed but are trimmed to a marketable size. |

| I often refer to them as a "sheet" knowing full well the technically correct term is "pane".... so, uhmmmm... would that be a pain in the pane? |

| i go with waroff49 opion, that it is a sheet-let not a pane, pane is refer as a section of some stamps separated from sheet, this is a complete sheet technically mini sheet or sheet-let but whatever it is, it is a beautiful thing |

| Greetings Fellow Boarders . All I got to say is, fiddlesticks. . I'm an old guy that is kind of stuck in my ways. It is hard trying to teach new technology (and words) to an old dog. . So, Mr. waroff49, you're telling me this sheetlet, with it's all around selvage, was created as a single unit of stamps and never at any time had other little sheetlets attached to it? If so, well then, miniture sheet it is. But I don't have to like it. . http://www.linns.com/howto/refresher/terminology_20070430/refreshercourse.aspx . (Kabitzing about sheets and panes is one of my few pleasures. ) . Most respectfully, Gordon Lee |

| You're all correct. Stamp collecting is such a diverse hobby and often 2 collectors can't agree on terminology Just look at the wide variations in the term MINT. mint, mint unhinged, mint no gum etc., especially when stamps are printed not minted. |

| Those aircraft are awesome! The rest are very nice also but there is something about jet fighters that gets the old blood pumping.
I have looked and looked for decent stamps from Singapore and it seems like I come up way short most of the time! |
