| well along my journey into some of history's darker corners, i find that there are a number of very beautiful German stamps from before 1933 and plenty after 1945. so many in fact that well i find it hard to pass on some of them... so perhaps this would be a good place to show some of those beautiful stamps....  _________________ Happy Stamping!!

These stamps are from the Allied Occupying forces used in West Germany before they started issuing their own stamps again. These too are a study all by themselves. There is a great site that breaks down this particular area at:

It is in German but there is a 'translation' spot you can click on to get an English version as well.
