Doesn't Poppy Z Brite live in NOLA, too? I know she was born there.

Youpiao, the Garden District of NOLA has become quite popular with the young wealthy ... Anne Rice, John Goodman, Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt and Nicholas Cage all come to mind - Cage recently bought a crypt in St. Louis No. 1 Cemetery - the burial place of voodoo priestess Marie Laveau.

But then if you ever strolled the Garden District and saw some of those old homes, knew a little of the history of the place you'd understand... heck if I could afford a million dollar home I'd live there too! FYI, a million doesn't get you a very big home in the Garden District either.

Isn't it like two per year once you're over 40? Actually it started for me 3.5 years ago when my first Grand Daughter was born. To see the child of your child start living life is a pretty good indication you have been around a while.

For me, Realms, it began when I was about 45 or so and I woke one morning... a typical morning like so many others - and I went to the bathroom and brush my teeth and go through my morning routine and I looked in the mirror... rubbed my eyes and looked again and asked myself out loud, "Dad?"

Thank you. I hope my image is not too big. I have been trying to be cognizant of the rules but I am not used to intentionally sizing images for a forum. I am sure I will figure it out...
