| those ar great!! i know at one point the US used something similar ..now they put the finger on a sticky note that falls off the cover... i love all the ones you showed ... question are they always on the same spot or do they get moved? any reason or is it just random stamping? | @ Roos - there are even more than this, I have just posted the ones that came to hand first and the ones I cut out because the rest of the cover was badly damaged. @Bear - they generally point to the return address, but often both sides of the envelope are stamped. I am guessing that the RTS stamp was not a National issue, each PO or Region got their own made. I must remember to ask my local PO what they use today. |
