| I am trying to ID this stamp, it's perf 10 and looked like it was coil. The only problem was that there is no coil version of the 6c listed in Scott. So, I compared to some of the other coils, it looks like this stamp is just a bit shorter. Most likely someone trimmed the perforations is my guess and this is really just a normal perf 10 scott 587. Anyone else have other ideas? |

| I've never quite understood why Scott doesn't list that stamp with the other perf. 10 vertically coils from that series. It seems kind of out of place where it's at. |

| Closest i can figure philatelius is that Scott rushes so much that they often forget the finer details _________________ Happy Stamping!! Bear |

| Well, looking a little closer at the Scott Catalog, I believe that this version was printed a different time than the others (1932 as opposed to 1923-29 for the others). |

| I believe t is a Scott#723 Perf 10 Coil and would have been a nice line pair if the post master/clerk wouldn't have been so quick to use the scissors! It was very common to separate stamps by the use of scissors in the day.
Crap-ola! I just noticed kacyds response! He beat me too it!! lol |
