Ok I am starting to collect the whole flags our nation series. TO bad i just go back into stamp collecting this year. but any how, my question does any one know of any good webites that offer the first day covers for these. I checked on ebay and most of em run anywhere from 4.50 to 5.00.

nope your are good man this could turn in to a great thread.. just keep us posted on your journey and keep asking questions.. i am sure others will jump in in time and offer other advice..

oh there is delcampe.com - one of the owners is a member here and stops in form time to time... great guy and always willing to help out with site issues etc..

will check out that two, this weekend plans are to get an album for the series, pre pare checklist for the series, and printing off pages maybe. iam looking into getting a new printer just for printing pages, i liked your idea of creating my own pages.

got all the scott #s for this series, wrote everything down i need for this collection. Iam going to make my own album with pages printed from the free aps flags of our nation series album pages. Now i gota go pick up some binders and page protecters. also created a list of first day covers for the series. will post pics when i get the stamps,, should be here next week. the first day covers will be added overtime.

Got three of the series sets today in the mail. Got the binders and page protectors for them as well. Gona wait till tomorrow or two more weeks so I can get me a laser printer I found at wally mart for 99 bucks 1500 pages on one toner that's crazy, I will go page making crazy when I get that.

Just don't use plain old printer paper when you do because it will damage your stamps. You should use an archival type paper of the proper thickness so it will be durable enough to stand up to rifling through it 20 times a day (like I do!) lol

I plan on using 110lb card stock for album pages, found some at the wally mart as well.

these stamps iam useing are in mint condition, i will be using mounts for these. will take pics of the stamps, eyes hurting from sorting to long today

Mb, Have you used the 110 lb cardstock before??? Just asking. I use the 65 lb and am very happy with it.

nope lol it was the only thing they had a wally world. it wasnt heavy heavy but it wasnt thin either.

Just making a suggestion. I get the 65 lb from Office Depot, and it comes in different colors too.

I believe 250 sheets run about $14.

I use the 110 myself. I can print on both sides without any chance of things showing through to the other side. My printer handles it just fine.
