I visited the forum Stamporama and applied to the board. They sent a confirmation email and then they send a personal email which I replied to. I mean I've been joining forums for years and know the routine. Here it is a full four days after replying to the personal email and my account remains inactive.

What gives with those folks? I've never heard of a message board with such a method for joining and frankly I'm about totally disinterested in the message board at this point after about a dozen attempts to log in only to find my screen name remains inactive.

Just tried to log in there again and still after five days I remain inactive.

whats stamporama? Another board I take it? I know a few of us here "migrated" here from another board or two. I visit several throughout the day just to see whats up. Keeps it fresh and interesting.

It's another board for stamp collectors but it seems odd that I can be approved for a mortgage or car loan but somehow can't get approved for membership to a message board!
