I agree I do like them. When I received them they were as your first all together. I split them up to mount them

That is the total of my USA mint collection less 1958, 1967, and 1935 National Parks {imperforated with out gum} that I still have to get to yet. It maybe small still but I am proud of them and one day I will be in you all's league that have been at it for years. I still need the basic ones before I can go to the high dollor ones. One day, but till then I am enjoying a great new found hobby and home.

On my Used USA stamps I have a lot more pages with holes that I am in the process of filling but here are the only full pages I have at the moment. I use the site philosateleia.com for my USA album pages on 110 lb index card stock, Ivory in color from Office Max.

1935 Used

I use Harris pages for my U.S. collection ... Australia, Liechtenstein, Panama and Canada come from albumpages.com. Philosateleia.com I use for everything else I don't make myself.

Both websites offer a wonderful and greatly appreciated service to the philatelic community. I couldn't ever thank them enough.

I find it interesting that the US has stamps celebrating foreign national anniversaries (i.e. Canada's centennial and Finnish independence).

The first stamp that had nothing to do with the United States was Poland of the Over run Nation series in 1943. The next one was 1957, Ramon Magsaysay on Medal with the Champion of Liberty series. Then Canada and Finland in 1967 with Puerto Rico in 1971. Puerto Rico is a judgement call on weither it is a foreign country or not. To me, it is a foreign country. Also are not included are Olympics, Moon, Mars, Space stations, US territories and Antarctic. That is all I could find, I might have missed one or two but we did and not many. And you would think some other countries would have been done, but they were not.

Don't be so surprised, Bear. Sometime search ebay stamps for "bicentennial" and you'll see many nations celebrate together for another nation. Check with Moonstra about her Australian collection - the US and Australia issued joint bicentennial stamps! There are far more worldwide stamps than US stamps celebrating the American Bicentennial... and that's just one event - the theme is recurring and frankly makes available to the collector a myriad of potential topical collections of persons and (historical) events.
