The image below I found on Ebay and shows a Scott Chile #11 issued in 1862 - this much I know.



The image below is a stamp that showed up in a Bear Box... it for all the world looks like the Sc11 seen above save for the color. It's also an imperf like the Sc11. Thing is I can't find anywhere in Scott where there's any other color of this design (Chile A1) and this denomination that's NOT green.

Any help would be appreciated.

It would appear to be a reprint.

Scott Classic Specialized Catalogue 2009 says: "No. 13 has been reprinted in the color of issue and in fancy colors, both from the original engraved plate and from lithographic transfers. The reprints are on paper without watermark or with watermark CHILE and Star."

EDIT: My catalogue has it as no. 13, no. 11 being the 1c lemon yellow.

ops i did realize a mistake now, your one is imperf and the one i mentioned have perfs

I haven't pulled up my Scott's to look yet...
