I really don't like to complain, but last two years, from time that Israel Post, turned from gov't Organization to Public Organization, service of same drop down in very bad way.

If You have partner, exchange or any shop deal, and mail come from Israel - ask sender, first to made sure, that clerk on the post will properly cancel postage on envelope/shipment!

Now that prices for delivery of ordinary mail come to very high level, and are rising almost every half year - if we, collectors will tolerate this kind of vandalism - it will be end of Philately! See this sample - how look like mail delivered by Post of Israel:

Asking post officer, to properly cancel stamp will made this high value stamp more valuable, as canceled even more than mint, because not many people today use postage stamp.

Wow... that thing is a mess I agree. But then again there's a little bit of everything there too.

While I don't share the feeling that this will mark the end of philately, I agree it is discouraging to receive this type of material. Equally frustrating is the other side of the same coin (which I experience far more often), when you receive mail containing nice high-value stamps, but which have not been touched by any kind of cancellation. They're useless as either used or unused-no-gum stamps.
