| get me out shopping. Well it ain't Monday so you can probably guess what it is from the title. Thanks goodness for a decent subway system (when it works, was down due to flooding at one end when all the buying was done, had to walk home ). Had end of month errands to deal with so decided to try out a new stamp shop I found on the net. Didn't buy any stamps there, but found a nice new place for the future... and they sell kiloware! (C$25 for 2lbs) But they were out of stock . Also visited Canada Post and the place I usually get my kiloware from. Was able to grab all stamps issues in 2005 from Canada Post as they still had some quarter packs for that year in stock. The post office sells packs of stamps that have all the stamps issued for a quarter of the year in them at face value. So 2005 is completely covered, and you can order them online if you are so inclined. The stamp store I visited before CP and grabbed another bag of kiloware as well as some older Canadian stuff also at face value. Was kinda fun at the post office. Had a chat with the girl that works the philatelic counter at the post office and she was asking what kiloware was and the like. Great girl and look forward to dealing with her again. Very helpful! Pics after the nap. _________________ Ignorance isn't bliss... it is just ignorance.

| Got all of this and more at face value. Got to love a post office that still has old stock and a coin dealer that sells off mint stamp stock at face _________________ Ignorance isn't bliss... it is just ignorance.

| Stamp shops? Post offices offering philatelic services? Subway? Public transportation?
Man... there's advantages to rural living but none apply to stamp collecting! *sigh*... I don't even have a bus come within 15 miles of where I live! |
