Oh yeah Bear... you need it all. If you need a Catalogue (Unitrade) let me know and I can see about picking you up the 2012 for $15 (if they still have the deal going on) next time I am there. The one good thing about it is that they use the Scott numbering system.

The Machin Head silhouette is part of the design, therefore I have been led to believe they are considered Machins. scratch

I could be out to lunch, but I will stick to my guns until someone puts information on the table that proves otherwise. study

Have a good one, sunny

p.s- That is a great deal for that catalogue Bear, hopefully you can work it out to get a copy.

Greetings Mr. skilo54
.
I may be all wet, but it is my understanding that these are "Regionals." The regionals are sold(by the royal post) only within the respective regions, but valid for postage throught Great Britain.
.
England
Three Lions
Crowned Lion
Oak Tree
Tudor Rose
.
Northern Ireland
Giants Causeway
Farm Fields
Linen
Parian China
.
Scotland
St. Andrew's Cross (flag)
Lion Rampant
Thistle
Tartan
.
Wales & Monmouthshire
Leek
Dragon
Daffodil
Prince of Wales Feathers
.
Every modern stamp issued by Great Britain would be considered a Machin if one considers a Machin is a stamp with the Queens profile. But that's just my take on it.
.
Respectfully,

Gordon Lee

Well I downloaded the Machin pages that you can find on the net, and those regionals are not in the pages. However, that really doesn't matter to me as I am collecting GB anyway and will want a set of those really nice stamps!!!!

One day I am going to have to see if I can start finding catalogues for my GB and colonies stuff... as that has yet to be organised, and I am acquiring more and more of them every week.

Hmmm, maybe I should stop buying kiloware

Yep... getting more and more GB and colonies as we speak. I bought on auction some stuff from Victoria to modern (at a MAX of 30% 2010 cv), arranged with the seller to pay at the end of month... wasn't expecting them till mid month and guess what just arrived today... ALL of them, $75 spent, but not even paid for yet. Shocked

Yep, seriously time to start dealing with that side of the collection. I may have to stop buying for a month to just catch up with the inventory I have... that and I now am desperate for albums Laughing

Time to get to work designing I guess.

Not just yet, Bear. I swear, bro, I've buried myself in philatelic projects (not that I'm complaining) and it all requires much work.

I've spent this evening sitting beside The Redhead sharing a few glasses of wine and penciling in Scott numbers and creating a want list on my U.S. collection - the last phase of the Big Move from one album to another. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel... then digging into the Australia.
Then...
Then...
Then...
ad infinitum...

I sort of have started the collection, I have a number of them, BUT, I have yet to start organising and cataloging them. Need to break down and see if I can grab a Stanley Gibbons catalogue.

I should rename this thread "Adventure's in Machin-land" 3am and I am working on the pile of Machin's from the kiloware

Edit: after an hour of sorting I am thinking this is MUCH more accurate

3 hours later and the Machin's are somewhat sorted and in envelopes, well at least by denomination anyway. Time for some Sleep
