I too have to say those orchids are beautiful. Look forward to when I have a house and can garden, that and put up a nice mail box!

As more orchids come out ( from now until November), I will show you the different colours I've got. I've lost a lot during the last year- too wet and cold- and they've rotted. This year I can give them some more protection as I've finally put up a poly-house,

The photographer in me can't resist, Waroff... sun was at your back was it? One of the better placed shadows I've seen actually... a man and his mailbox. There's a story there... I can just sense it...

I'm using moderator privilege to resurrect this thread as a subject too good to be buried on page 2 of this topic.

I just had to pick one of my own threads... I thought this one was fun and we have some new folks around here since this thread went silent.

Okay, since you asked. This is my mailbox. I only show it now as a "before" picture. I'm going to make a flower bed, with climbing vines, around it. I was going to start it this weekend (yesterday and today, for me), but the weather argued otherwise. I'll post in-progress pictures periodically, and, hopefully have a completely transformed mailbox to show in summer.

Cheers,

Tedski
